Since 1966 Vans has been creating versatile, everyday sneakers that have become a staple in wardrobes everywhere. What you might not know is that the iconic sneaker brand is taking some major steps in sustainability including committing to 100% renewable energy in all facilities by 2025, sourcing 100% of their top materials from regenerative, responsibly-sourced means by 2030, and eliminating all plastic bags in retail spaces. The new Circle Vee incorporates sustainable updates to just about every little piece that goes into making a shoe: from a one-pice knitted natural upper to an all new biofoam midsole, and even new construction methods to reduce glues and excess material. What's more: Vans is partnering with the Ocean Conservancy and donating $1 from every Circle Vee product sold to the Tides Foundation.
